RIP Misty Girl

Misty
August 17, 1997 - April 6, 2010
RIP, Misty Girl. I love you, Little One, and thank you for sharing your life with me. Now you are healed again, and with your sister, your Grandma, your Uncle, and all the other relatives who will keep you safe until we are together again. I will always miss you, Pumpkin.

Oh Pam!! I am so sorry to hear about Misty - I had no idea she was sick!! And so soon after Ladybugs - I know they are both now healed and together again, but I also know what you must be going through. I wish I was able to be there for you. I Love You very much!! Big hugs to you, my dear sister!! xoxoxoxoxoxox

Thanks Linda. Yeah, it was a huge shock. I've always known she would not live as long as Lady did, but I thought I'd still have another year or so with her. She got very sick just over a month ago, and spent a few days at the vet, but she recovered and was doing very well, and was her usual happy and playful self for a month. Then on Sunday she got really sick again. The first time the vets said it was probably pancreatitis, but the vet I saw on Sunday (my favourite one, thank God) looked at her bloodwork from then and said she didn't think it had been pancreatitis. She did x-rays and found some masses, and they did an ultrasound yesterday to confirm, and discovered two very large tumors. So it was a huge shock, to be sure, but thankfully it wasn't a long drawn-out illness. It's very hard though - so thanks for your love and support. I love you very much too, and big hugs back at you.

Love,
Pam XOX

It always seems that when something this tragic happens, I can never be with you guys to at least offer a physical hug even!! It's very frustrating, Pam. But know that I really do send "mind hugs" - if that makes sense - to both you and Judy. Take care and call if you need to! xoxoxoxoxoxoxo

Yes, that makes perfect sense, and I know just what you mean - it's hard sometimes when we can't be near physically. But the one thing we always know is that we all love each other very much, and the "mind hugs" mean so much, and they do help. Thanks, sis, and big mind hugs back to you.

Love, Pam XOX
